Since he was a child, Uppal has been the kid who was always inclined towards puzzles, brain teasers, riddles etc. He was an extraordinary kid who always tried to be involved in deciphering the workings of the toys and other things by splitting them open and trying to put them back together. Always looking for a simpler and creative way to fix them. He showed his creative side at a young age and it continues to this day. It is the same brain storming, trying to look for easy solutions to the current problems is the biggest tool in his arsenal that has enabled him to achieve the “Titan of the Business” title in such a short span of time.

Since Uppal was a school dropout, he majorly imparted knowledge from his father ensuring that he only getting trained in the most practical life and business skills necessary to manage the day-to-day business and giving him all the tools that he would need in future to expand his dreams of making JK Sugar a huge business empire.

Much of Uppal’s passion, focus towards goals and determination for business can be credited to his father, his role model, who despite an overwhelming adversity, quit his safe job at a state-owned enterprise years ago and industrialized his venture. This innate skill of his father influenced him to navigate tumults from being a junior high dropout to a self-educated man and a successful business leader. His father taught him about an unparalleled love for business, knack towards being successful and a rigid will in the face of challenges.

In an attempt to replicate the successful story of his father, Uppal managed to industrialize the empire of JK Group through diversifying into various verticals. Starting from an analysis and then a series of strategic planning, including feasibility analysis, market research, investment/return ratio forecasting, etc. he ventured into an ambitious plan to conquer the market and started implementing power packed plan of action and strategies resulting in a small scale trading in sugar shaping up to be a massive business house where uplifting lives through meaningful ventures became the success mantra.
